joya9 loging Cricket Betting — Bet on BPL, IPL and the T20 World Cup
joya9 loging brings a full cricket betting experience for cricket fans in Bangladesh. From T20 to Test, BPL to ICC tournaments — place bets across multiple markets in every format and enjoy live in-play betting.
The three cricket formats and the tournaments you can bet on
Understanding formats matters in cricket betting, because T20, ODI and Test each have a different style of play, team strategy and betting market.
T20 is the fastest format. Runs come quickly and wickets can fall suddenly in a 20-over match. BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) and IPL T20 matches are the most popular among fans in Bangladesh. When the Bangladesh Tigers take the field in the T20 World Cup, excitement runs high across the country.
ODI format is a 50-over contest where teams need a balanced plan for both batting and bowling. The ICC Cricket World Cup is played in this format. The innings break in ODIs creates an opportunity to change strategy mid-game, which also influences the betting markets.
Test cricket is a five-day test of patience. Pitch behaviour, weather and the overall strength of each team have the greatest influence here. A draw is a possible result in Tests, so the betting markets are built with that in mind.
At joya9 loging, betting is available on BPL and IPL as well as ICC tournaments and bilateral international series. Cricket offers a wider variety of markets than football and other sports — a separate market is formed around each moment of the match.
Betting on football and other sports
Football offers markets similar to cricket — match winner, goal scorer and multi bets. However, football has a fixed duration (90 minutes), whereas cricket has many more markets based on wickets and overs. For computer-generated sports, check out Virtual Sports — where you can play on your own schedule outside of real match times.
Popular betting markets — how to bet on each
A range of markets is available for cricket matches at joya9 loging. Each market has its own rules and approach. Seven popular markets are briefly explained below.
Match Winner
Pick which of the two teams will win the match before it starts. Example: Team A and Team B are playing — if you think Team B will win, place your bet on Team B. There is no draw in T20, so the result is straightforward.
Toss Winner
Bet on which team will win the toss. Since the probability is roughly equal, the odds are usually close. It is a quick market as it is settled before the match begins.
Top Run Scorer
Which batter will score the most runs for their team in that match? This market generally requires close attention to each team's key batters. The risk is higher, but so are the odds.
Total Runs Over/Under
A set target for total runs in the match is given. You choose whether the total will be higher (over) or lower (under) than that figure. Pitch conditions and weather play a big role here.
Top Wicket Taker
Which bowler will take the most wickets? On a spin-friendly pitch, backing a spinner can be a reasonable choice. However, an injury or a change to the playing eleven can affect the outcome of the bet.
Handicap Betting
To even out the difference in strength between two teams, the weaker team is given a virtual run advantage. Say Team A has a handicap of -15 runs — your bet on them wins only if they win by more than that margin.
Multi Bet (multiple selections)
Combining selections from multiple matches or markets creates a multi bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together, so the potential return is much higher. But if even one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost — making this a high-risk option. For more detailed strategies and tips, visit our Betting Tips page.
Three ways odds are written — how to read them
Odds are the core language of betting. The same probability can be written in three different ways — decimal, fractional and American. joya9 loging generally displays decimal odds, but you may come across the other formats on other sites.
| Format | Team A odds | Team B odds |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.25 | 1.25 |
| Fractional | 5/4 | 1/4 |
| American | +125 | -400 |
Example 1 — if Team A wins: A stake of ৳200 returns a total of ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 original stake). If Team A loses, the ৳200 is gone. (Odds 2.25 = 5/4 = +125 — all three mean the same thing.)
Example 2 — Team B as favourite: Team B's odds are 1.25 = 1/4 = -400. American -400 means you need to stake ৳400 to make ৳100 profit. A ৳200 stake returns ৳250 (only ৳50 profit). A favourite carries lower risk, but the return is also lower.
Live betting — odds shift with every wicket and every over
In-play or live betting means placing bets while a match is in progress. It differs from regular betting because the odds update automatically after every ball.
Say Team A is batting and has lost 4 wickets in 10 overs. Team A's odds will lengthen because the market considers their chances of winning to have decreased. Conversely, if a batter hits consecutive sixes to push their team ahead, Team A's odds will shorten.
The powerplay overs (first 6 overs in T20) and the death bowling phase in the final 4 overs are periods when live markets are particularly active. When a wicket falls or a boundary is hit, odds can change in an instant.
Because live betting puts pressure on making quick decisions, having a prior understanding of the match situation is an advantage. Rather than rushing, take a moment to assess the situation calmly.
Some practical advice before you bet
Set a budget in advance
Betting is a form of entertainment. Decide in advance how much you will spend each week or month and stay within that limit. Do not chase losses with bigger bets.
Start with one market
If you are new, start with just the match winner market. Betting on many markets at once makes things complicated. Build experience gradually before moving on to other markets.
Keep track of pitch and weather conditions
In Test and ODI cricket, pitch conditions and weather have a major influence on the result. If rain is forecast, the D/L method may change the outcome — and that affects your bet too.
Be careful with multi bets
Even though multi bets show a high potential return, you lose the entire bet if any one selection is wrong. Combining more than two or three selections increases the risk quickly. Work with fewer selections and picks you feel more confident about.
Bet responsibly
Betting should never be treated as a source of income. Read our guide on responsible gaming and stay aware of your own limits.
All betting and casino activity at joya9 loging is strictly for those aged 21 and above. Participation by those under this age is strictly prohibited.
What is a betting exchange?
In a betting exchange, you bet directly against other bettors. BACK means betting that a team will win; LAY means betting that a team will not win. For example, if you LAY against a BACKER staking ৳500, you receive ৳500 if the team does not win (before commission), and pay out ৳500 if they do. Commission applies on exchanges.
